I can't wait to meet you, Baby Maeve
It was a gorgeous fall day. We pulled into Kelci and Ryan's friend's home and rolled the car windows down. I got out of the car and grabbed my camera bag from the back seat. As I was reaching for the bag, I heard something behind me. I turned around expecting to be greeted by a dog or a cat or a child. Instead, I was met by a chicken. Before I knew it, the chicken was trying to get into the backseat of my car. I was barely able to get the back door shut before the chicken turned on me. She came at my ankles, pecking at the tops of my boots. I high kneed it back into the car and watched out the window as the chicken hollered at me from the ground outside. It wasn't until Kelci and Ryan pulled up a few minutes later that the chicken went back to patrolling the yard.
I'm not going to lie, I got a little choked up looking back through the past 2 years with this sweet little family. I've watched Kelci and Ryan learn to parent and Miera learn to test their patience. I can't wait to see Miera grow into her role as Big Sis and Ryan and Kelci grow into their role as parents of two.
Kelci and Ryan, as always, thank you for trusting me to capture your family at this moment. Miera is full of personality and I'm really excited now that she's starting to like me :) Scroll down to the bottom to see all your past sessions with me :)
