Brown County Engagement

Approximately 15 minutes into Brown County is a lake. I stumbled across it a few weeks ago while Kevin was mountain biking. There is rarely anyone there during the weekdays which makes it a perfect photo location. When Cody and Macy reached out to book their engagement session, I knew this was the place.

This session was incredibly special to me because Cody and I have known each other since middle school. We had a lot of the same friends and had many classes together throughout high school - remember anatomy?? Our families lived close, we knew each other's parents, and we always had a great time. When I received Cody's message asking if I could photograph his and Macy's wedding, I was ecstatic.

After spending time with Cody and Macy as a couple, I'm confident that Macy is perfect for Cody. She is intelligent, witty, and down to earth. The way that Cody looks at her makes my heart happy.

Cody and Macy, thank you for choosing me to be your photographer. It's a pleasure to photograph your love. I can't wait to document your wedding day in a few months!
