Golden Fall Engagement at Mill Race Park

It was an unusually hot October day when we pulled onto the road leading to Mill Race Park. The park was bustling with happy people, from a family reunion on one side of the park to a birthday party on the other side. The large pond glistened in the sun and the ground was decorated with brown, orange, and red leaves. Autumn was in full swing signifying the perfect time for engagement photos.

We met Kailee and her mom a few months ago at a Starbucks. Over coffee, we chatted about the details of her wedding. She already had her venue picked and it was one of our favorites - The Barn at Timber Ridge. Her eyes lit up as she told us how she and Tyler met and how he proposed. We didn't get to meet Tyler until a few months later at their engagement session. We spent nearly an hour chatting about their upcoming wedding, the campsite they stay at nearly every weekend, and their two beloved dogs. There are a lot of things we love about being wedding photographers, but our favorite part is getting to know our clients as friends.

Kailee and Tyler, thank you for trusting us with your engagement photos. We loved working with you both. You kept us laughing and really made us feel like friends.
