Race Day Weekend Wedding at The Barn at Timber Ridge

It all started with a Tinder match, and next thing you know, “hey” turns into “I do.” Brad and Michelle officially met in person four years ago at Britain Tavern, getting engaged on September 21st, 2020. She’s a teacher, he’s a welder, and they both share an interest in racing, landing on #RacinToTheAlter for their wedding. Quite literally, as they got married the day before the Indy 500, and all went to the race the next day.

This was the 7th wedding we have photographed at The Barn at Timber Ridge, and we always enjoy coming back. It’s such a beautiful venue, perfect for this couple. There are always classic moments that stand out during a wedding, but this one had the addition of another: the brief moment during the ceremony where the wedding rings were dropped. It took about five minutes of searching to find that they landed in front of the altar. With laughter and sighs of relief, Brad and Michelle exchanged their first kiss at husband and wife and signified the beginning of their perfectly imperfect marriage.

Brad and Michelle, thank you for trusting us to photograph your wedding. We know a special relationship when we see it, and you guys are no exception. Enjoy the rest of your lives together, and if it’s anything like racing, it’ll be full of excitement.
