Welcome to the world, Kyler Mae

Kyler Mae is only 2-weeks old and she already has a best friend - her dog Izzy. When Kyler cries, Izzy comes to check on her. Izzy is gentle, protective, and curious. Last week Izzy actually scooted one of her moms away from Kyler so that she could get closer to the baby. Pet/baby friendships are one of my favorite things and I can't wait to watch their friendship grow.

In addition to three four-legged best friends, Kyler has two human best friends - her moms Ellen and Kendall. We had the privilege of photographing Ellen and Kendall's gorgeous summer wedding two years ago. You might remember it - one of our photos of them was published in Cosmopolitan! You know what they say - friends that get published together stay together so here we are.

Now, 2 years later, their love has grown into a beautiful baby girl.

Ellen and Kendall, thank you for trusting me to capture your little one at this moment in time. She is perfect and you guys are naturally great parents! I can't wait to watch little Kyler grow.
