Welcome to the world, Rylee Kay.

Rylee Kay,
I have known your momma and daddy for only 3 years now, but it feels like we've been friends forever. I've documented your parent's engagement, and I was there the day they got married. For their two year anniversary, they brought your big brother, Walter, to meet me, and they told me about you. Walter sat, smiled, and tried to eat your baby shoes. I was there when your mom and dad learned that you were a little girl. Your daddy cried a little and kissed your momma. I think he knew you were a girl the whole time, even though he wouldn't say it out loud.
I was there one month before you arrived, photographing your momma's belly in your hippo themed nursery. Your daddy was excitedly trying to put away your clothes, blankets, diapers, and stuffed animals from your baby shower the day before. So much love was put into your nursery, from the beautiful cursive "Rylee" above your bed to the "I'm my mommy's world and my daddy's girl" sign that your dad picked out especially for you (only for you to sleep next to their bed in their room).
I was one of the first people who got the text that your momma was in labor and I would have photographed your birth had you not come in with such enthusiasm.
But 8 days later, I was back in your nursery photographing your parents in the same spot they were just a month before. Only this time it was with you too.
Rylee Kay, I cannot wait to watch you grow. I also cannot wait to watch your parents learn to be parents. They are already naturals and love you more than anything.
Jenn and Tyler, as always, thank you for trusting me with your milestones. It's been my pleasure to watch your love grow into a human being. I can't wait to document Rylee as she grows.
