Time seemed to stand still. As snowflakes quietly fell all around them, they stared into each other's eyes. The cozy moment only interrupted by the quiet clicks of our cameras. While others tasted local wines at the Oliver Winery tasting room, Sean and Laura stood far down a hill in heaps of snow. In order to get there we had to climb down a snowy hill that required some serious effort and concentration. Worth it.
We were supposed to do this session late last year, but something came up and we had to reschedule. It was a bummer at the time, but now we know it was meant to be! The night before the session, mother nature decided to dump snow all over Central Indiana. As photographers, we are obsessed with snow. We couldn’t have ended up with a better backdrop for this engagement session.
Luckily, Sean and Laura were as excited about this rare opportunity for a snowy session as we were and met us at the beautiful winery. Even though it was below freezing temperature outside, we spent nearly an hour braving the cold for these photos. It was such a fun time getting to know this couple that I didn’t even notice the fact I couldn’t feel my feet.
Laura and Sean, thank you so much for choosing us to photograph your wedding this year. You two were absolutely gorgeous. We can’t wait to create even more amazing portraits for you. We loved that we could share a beautiful snowy day getting to know you both a little better. Meeting clients like you two remind us why we love being photographers.
