Rainy weather makes for a very cozy cafe engagement session. We had the opportunity to travel to Indianapolis for Joshua and Hilary's engagement session! We love seeing new sites and trying new things so we were thrilled to photograph and eat dinner at the ADORABLE Cafe Audrey.
When we heard from Joshua and Hilary at the beginning of November, we couldn't believe it. They were getting married in January!! Like, in 3 months!! Not only would it be our first January wedding EVER, it would become our first 2019 wedding. We were so excited!!
We met at a Starbucks a few weeks later to discuss details and get to know each other. Joshua and Hilary's kind personalities were inviting. Kevin and I were hopeful they would like us enough to let us photograph their special day. A few days later, they hired us!

Also a huge thank you to Tamela at Cafe Audrey for allowing us to use their adorable space when the rain wouldn't stay away. Kevin and I really enjoyed the Gouda apple honey pecan crustini. We had no idea what we were getting into when we ordered it, but HOLY COW it was delicious. We will be back soon!
