Fall Wedding at the Walnut Ridge Retreat Center

A musical score from their favorite video game, The Legend of Zelda, set the scene as the ceremony began. One after one, Andrew witnessed the bridal party stroll down the aisle at the Walnut Ridge Retreat Center. The only one missing was her. The one he would marry in only a matter of minutes. Though the anticipation was building, he turned around and averted his eyes until Alyssa was close enough to see. He could surely hear the crowd react to Alyssa’s beauty as she entered the large room, but he did not look. When she finally reached the crowd, everyone stood. He turned slowly towards his bride. Tears flowed down his cheeks. He was about to marry the love of his life, the mother of his daughter.

It all started with an accident. An accident that now seems more like an act of fate. Alyssa mistakenly added Andrew on Facebook. That’s how they met. What a journey it’s been since then. Now husband and wife, and parents to a adorable little girl named Arabella. Ever since we met that at their Engagement Session, we knew that these two were perfect together. From their mutual love of video games and Dungeons and Dragons, to their creativity and sense of humor. Every session we’ve had has been so unique and so fun.

Andrew and Alyssa, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You didn’t know us before you booked us at your wedding, but you did it anyways. You trusted us to be with you, to serve you, and to celebrate with you on one of the biggest days of your life. We were both so thrilled you see you finally tie the knot (Literally!). We are so happy for you to begin your new journey as husband and wife, and as mother and father to your baby girl. You’d better believe we are going to keep following all of the photos you post online as she grows up! We wish you and your family all the best in the future and hope that our paths cross again.
