The other night Kevin and I realized that it's been 7 months since we've had the opportunity to photograph expecting parents. We are so thankful to spend weekends upon weekends meeting and working with couples and families, but it's rare that there's a beautiful baby bump to swoon over. We both agreed that we wanted to gift a maternity session to a deserving mama-to-be. As luck would have it, the next day I received this email:
"Hey Grace! I met you last December when I participated in the boudoir photo sessions with Ashley. I don’t know if you recall but i wanted to take the boudoir photos for myself to remind myself of how beautiful and perfectly made my body is despite the fact I had unexplained infertility. Well the next month my husband and i ended up getting pregnant! What a blessing from above!" Shelly explained that she didn't want anything too extravagant, but wanted to remember the experience of pregnancy.
Kevin and I knew immediately that this was it. We gifted the session to Max and Shelly on the condition that the session was in fact, extravagant. Check out this glowing mama and her amazing hubby below :)
Max and Shelly, thank you so much for trusting us to capture this exciting time in your lives. Your happiness is contagious and we both left the session smiling. We cannot wait for you guys to become parents and meet your baby girl. :)
