The Barn at Timber Ridge Wedding

A chorus of confetti cannons could be heard as white paper snowed from the sky. This was it, the deed was done. Two had become one. Now the bride and groom strolled gleefully back down the aisle as confetti showered down on them. The large crowd of guests became restless in the summer sun as they began slowly working their way back to the barn at timber ridge. While the guests and family members may not have been bonded together before this day, they were bonded after this day. With the marriage of Courtney and Josh, all became closer as they celebrated the profession of love between such wonderful people.

Continue to love one another so infectiously that others can’t help but do the same.

Sometimes it is easy to get caught up in events of the wedding day. After all, a marriage only involves the bride and groom. While it's perfectly reasonable for the day to be focused on those two, we didn’t feel that this day was only about Courtney and Josh. We noticed them putting a lot of energy into making sure that the guests enjoyed themselves. They wanted the guests to be just as happy as they were. We think they succeeded. There was so much work behind the scenes that went into making the whole day flawless. There wasn’t a single person without a smile on their face by the end of the evening.

Courtney and Josh, thank you for letting us be a part of this momentous day. From the moment we met in the freezing woods for your engagement shoot, we knew we would love working with you. We nearly lost some fingers that day but the photos were perfection because of your love for each other and your willingness to show it above everything else. You didn’t let us down on your wedding day either. Your beaming smiles and compassion made our job easy! We want you to know that you brought us so much joy just from being in your presence, and we hope you continue to love one another so infectiously that others can’t help but do the same. We wish you the best this life has to offer, and we can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you! Here are some of the highlights from this weekend.
